"Renovations in the commons gymnasium were completed in April
of 2002. Thirty-two 400 watt metal halide fixtures were replaced
with thirty-two of Paragon's 8 foot 6-lamp T8 fixtures. These
retrofits will save approximately $2,188 per year in electricity
costs. The gymnasium is much brighter now. The new fixtures provide
a pleasant wash on the gym floor and walls and distribute the light
better than the halides. On April 30th, 2002 a team from engineering
field division southwest visited NAVSTA Everett to perform a quality
assurance evaluation. The project met with rave reviews."
